Every day I hear ...

Every day I hear about someone's relative or friend who had a wild idea to save energy. But they did nothing with it. Maybe they couldn't reach someone who could understand or use the idea? Maybe it wasn't a good idea.

But maybe in combination with someone else's idea, it could make a difference.

Please use this Group to post your thoughts. Be aware that there is no protection against someone stealing your ideas. Maybe you could sketch an outline, add your contact information, and someone will contact you to follow up. Make them sign an NDA.

I have a method that can reduce a buildings heating and cooling bill by up to 50%, with a similar percent reducing emissions after a few years of savings the method is paid for and then goes on for many more years to do much more, I use proven technology to attain the percentages.
I have a system that is basically free once set up my system captures a cirties emissions and locks them away forever on land, underground, or under water, using old proven technology combined with one of my innovations.
I have an innnovation that makes electricity use much more efficient-it is simple and inexpensive- based on a scientific fact.
I have an innovaton based on a scientific fact for all vehicles to reduce fossil fuel use.
I have 30 diesel truck mileage improvements.
I have an oil for BIO Fuel that does not bother the human food chain in any way, as well once set up is virtually free and uses no pesticides, chemicals or fertilizers, very ittle water, one can harvest all year around as well grow in the most inhospitable areas in the world, cold is a factor but not a problem, once inplace very little fossil fuel use to harvest, as well I can stop the BIO JET FUEL that Sir Richard Branson is using from freezing at high altitudes.

WELL i HAVE PLENTY OF WILD IDEAS IM VERY OPINONATED PERSON
HOPE I DONT OFFEND ANYONE SORRY THIS IS A COOPERATIVE EFFORT THE IDEA OF SOCIALIZING IS TO GET INFORMED BUT OTHERS GET NEW VIEW POINTS DISCUSS POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS AND ANYLIZE POSSIBILITIES. GREAT YOU GET TO SAY WHAT YOU BELIVE THE SOLUTIONS ARE. THEIR SOLUTIONS OR OURS OK COME ON WE WANT THE ANSWERS TO THE TEST THE ANSWER IS THERE ARE NO CORRECT ANSWERS JUST THOUGHTFULL SOLUTIONS GLOBAL WARMING BIG PROBLEM BIG SOLUTION RIGHT NO THIS PLANET WOULDN'T HAVE ANY OXTGEN IF IT WASN'T FOR SINGLE CELL PLANT CREATURE IN OUR PRIMORIAL OCEANS. THINK BIG THOUGH I LIKE THE WAY IT MAKES YOUR EYES LIGHT UP WORLD SHARE OF OIL
OOPS WE CAN'T SHARE THAT MUCH WE WOULD HAVE TO DO WITHOUT AS MUCH WELL THAT WILL NEVER WORK WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME THEY GAVE YOU MORE THEN YOU HAD COMING WE ALL COULD CUT BACK A LITTLE I GUESS THAT BE ON THE HONOR SYSTEM WELL THAT WON'T WORK LETS FACE IT WE ARE NOT ALL HONEST DARN THIS TEST IS HARD SIMPLE SOLUTIONS WELL LETS SEE HOW ABOUT RECYCLING NO WE ALL DO THAT ALLREADY OK SO SOME OF US DON'T YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE IT'S NEVER TO LATE TO START WE HAVE TO THINK OK WERE THINKING JUST ABOUT THERE PUSH A LITTLE HARDER OK i'VE GOT IT WE WILL PAY EVEN MORE FOR GAS HOW THAT WE WILL ROUND IT UP AND ALL THOSE SURPLUS DOLLARS WILL HAVE TO BE SPENT ON SOLAR ARRAYS
MIGHT WORK BUT THE IDEA DONT GIVE UP LETS TWEEK THE CONCEPT PAY FOR SOLAR AND WITH ALL THESE PANELS GOING UP EVERY WHERE WHAT WOULD BE THE CONSIQUENCES WELL I SAW THE DESIGN THAT USED EVERY GLASS WINDOW AS A PANEL IN BIG CITIES THAT MIGHT JUST WORK EXCEPT IF YOU KNOW SOLR IS HIGHLY SUSEPTABLE TO SHADE. IT'S REALLY TO BAD THERE ISN'T SOLAR ASPHALT IT SEEMS TO COVER LARGE AREAS ANYWAY AND NEEDS REPLACED EVERY FEW YEARS OK GOOD IDEA AND SECONDARY BENIFIT WE FIX UP THE ROADS AT SAME TIME
SMOOTH ROADS FEWER POT HOLES MIGHT JUST BE SMOOTH SAILING EXCET SOLAR ASPHALT IS A PIPE DREAM WELL ITS BETTER THAN OIL SHALE. NOW I HAVE HEARD OILSHALE ASPHALT CAN LAST FIFTY YEARS AND IS GREEN IN COLOR THAT BE COOL WE COULD CALL IT A GREEN SOLUTION KIND OF LIKE PAINTING WAFER BOARD GREEN TO PASS IT OFF AS ECOLOGICAL PURE BULL LETS SEE MILES OF ROADS THATS ALOT OF SURFACE AREA. ITS NOT TAKING UP ANY ADITIONAL SPACES IT FIXS POT HOLES MAYBE WE COULD USE THIS TO CARRY ALL OUR GOODIES A KIND OF SLIP STREAM FOR OUR PRODUCE,COMUNICATIONS,HUMAN TRANSPORT,ENERGY
HAY NOW WE ARE TALKING A TRANSMISSION HIGHWAY IT MAKES ELECTRICITY AVAILABLE WHERE EVER THERES A ROAD HOW DOES THIS WORK WOULDN'T IT SHOCK YOU CROSSING THE STREET NO IT BE SO LOW VOLTAGE IT BE JUST LIKE IT IS NOW NO VOLTAGE
OK IT FIX THE POT HOLES OH NOW THERE NOT GOING TO FIX THE POT HOLES WHERE HOMER SIMPSON WHEN YOU NEED HIM. OK ROADS NEED TO MAKE ENOUGH ELECTRICITY TO MOVE WHAT EVER IS LOADED ON THEM TRAM CARS ELECTRIC BULLET TRAINS
MAX TRAINS,THE SUB WAY THE SOLUTION MAY BE ON THE ROAD BUT IT'S NOT HERE YET CONSERVATION IS ALL WE GOT THAT WILL WORK EITHER WAY EITHER WE WILL HAVE TO YOU WE WILL BECAUSE WE WANTR TO THE ROADS WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT THEY GET BAD ENOUGH LESS PEOPLE WILL DRIVE.

Given enough time we could solve all the worlds problems. affordable housing
clean water, clean energy and nutrious food. Here goes not necessarily in order of importence. Clean energy could be electricty produced by the sun
SOLAR cell technology as affordable aselectricity from any other source.
Clean water this would likely incoroprate solar as well. Either to pump the water from wells or ocean water to a thermal distiller or other distillation
process such as UV light something that eliminates the bugs while not extracting the minerals in some waters. Housing is what it is a place to stay for individules and families hopefull a safe house with room enough for all
and warm or cool enough that this isn't your main concern. Cost is a big factor and health houses should not grow black mold yet we keep building them from materials that sustain mold growth knowing full well those materials are going to adventually get damp or even wet in some climates.
A system for building affordable houses would likely resemble one for mass
producing any comodity an assembly line. While there are alot of people who would never live in a camper or mobile home there are a quite a few who are currently living in pre-fabricated housing. This trend will continue untill every conceivable style of home is prefabricated. So what materials will not sustain black mold and will hold up to hurricane force wind and provide an insulation barrier to the extreme temperature variations all across this planet. The
colsest thing I could find is concrete and insulation foam. The story here
is encouraging as well. Insaulation can be produced from both recycled
paper as in celuois insulation and in the form of foam made from of all things soybeans. If you were ever courious about what a concrete and foam house might look like you might be susprised they can look real nice and the savings are real. 1/3 less to heat or cool and cost about the same to build.
I think like these other technologies I speak of here with mass acceptence
and mass production these prices could be real reasonable. Check out the do it your home kits at American Ingenuity.com if one knows that interest is two thirds of the cost of your house then you could maybe still sell your and reap enough profits to buy land where the price is right buy a kit outright and hire a builder to put it up for you live what you belive and pass it on dimonstrate that you know how and teach others how to be really green
and think up your solutions and post them like I did.

I like promoting ideas that make logical sense. I have to admit I'm hearing alot of interesting ideas about green energy these days. Our old ways have to be recognized as wastefull and new substitutes found that relayy make sense. Bringing the cost of solar down to where it is costing the same to heat and cool with coal or solar that makes sense. It allows us to make a easy pick when the time is right to make that decession. So how do you get the price of solar down? You either have to produce the panels in a factory by the mile and even then certain costs remain in the materials that must be passed on. The other method is by counting on technological break throughs
such as printable solar arrays or organic solar cell that are less effecient but easier to mass produce. These easy to produce panels should be re-cyclable
or what the use. Mass produce and make newer better panels either way the investment is going to be hugh. We have to commit to this typy of strategy
working incentives to buy, lease or rent solar panels so long as they produce energy and are mass producable and recycable that money seems to go around and around too. We have to remember China has cheap labor pools and we can not compete on labor prices. We can insist on good products that are enviromentally and humanely produced if not where is the hope in solar produced by work slaves or cheap solar clogging our land fills about the time we get the plastic bag problem handled. 42 volt solar arrays that actually charge the next big thing whatever it is.

I have been promoying under the hood hydrogen as the solution to our energy and pollution problems. The price would be $100 per vehicle but might be reduced by widespread adoption of the concept. In as simple of design explaination as possible it is this. A canister or series of canisters that yeild hydrogen when electricity is applied. (a electrolizer) the surplus electricity from your alternator when not longer reguired to recharge your automotive battery is thus put to work producing hydrogen gas in small quanaties which is imeadiately consumed along with gas, diesel or other fuel normally used in internal combustion engines. The study I read would indicate this method of
using hydrogen would doubble the gas milage. That means we have the means to meet the CAFE standard set out for clean air standards by 2011
The combustion of the hydrogen not only increases the gas milage but decreases the emissions normally coming from the tail pipe by 90%
it does this by more completely burning the other fossil fuels. In effect the added milage and reduced pollution caused also by more thoro buring of fuels.
Isn't this just the best NEWS you have ever heard on ALTERNATIVEENERGY.COM I think it is thats why I keep repeating it. So join with me in re-writting repeating this story tell you local news get them investigating and reporting on this and maybe GOOGLE will buy that idea and free it up so a world of green engineers can profect it. It's the solution to two big problems rolled into a $100 gizmo it will solve GLOBAL WARMING
and whip the ENERGY CRISIS all at the same moment. NOW be for warned when you first look it seems pretty gimicky but dig into the science and there is sound logic to the concept. Google search HYZOR or browns gas this gets you to a couple sites that mention this technology. Let's get it out there and then lets all buy one. Better yet lets get goverment to require the technology the lets just pay an extra hundred at the dealership the next time we buy a new car, truck or van. Maybe we could all go back to driving our SUV's if
it cost half as much and polluted 90% less we could all feel we got our moneys worth. There has to be room for at least a six pack under the hood.
costs less than the price of replacing one 16 inch tire.

Our attitudes have changed even since last year. The speed of this change is increasing. People are looking into alternatives more. It becomes are job then to inform these new readers of what we have learned. We are part of a new society a wired internet all be it fiber optics and three wire combo's we feed on information the more we know the more we realize the more there is to know. In an internet world ideas can form overnight. They can flow like electrons or photons over glass or metal. These bits of computer ones and zeros stream from my eyes to yours through your fingertips. So we touch on a concept such as we can survive with less oil. What if the reality is we die by the thousands or even millions because we have become so dependant on energy we forgot our farm haritage let our farms by plowed under in favor of Walmart plastic Hockers, sold out to the oil companies by buying their
fake and phony chemical promises of better agriculture let our machines gobble up the very fertility of our soils robbing us of the very nutrition we need to grow a healthy body and we have lat holliwood and washington DC pollute our minds with fantasy surreal agendas. Could we survive without fuel
from the terrorists and dictators of the world I dought it so I guess the next best thing would be to give them all dish TV and sell them the same crap
were all buying hook line and sinker. Maybe Holly wood will make a movie
A WORLD RUN ON THE SUN kind of like water world but with a good outcome. WASHINGTON DC could could all get together in an election year and give out incentive checks maybe they should have given out $1200
worth of solar panels so we could keep our electric grid up and going when we can no longer afford oil One great diaster away from $200 dollar a barrel oil. We have seen this before we are the inventors of free market system
buyers pay only what they can afford. No wonder this is happening to us after all are we not the richest nation on the face of the planet? We get the goverment we deserve Boy now we are really in for it. Let's face it we did not educate our youth now we pay the price a dumb down society. Our kids are smarter than us but that don't get it in a smarter than ours world. So we need to bring back the Farm and mines. Homestead act II and 1872 Mine Law
so as BLM and forest service lands can be claimed. Prove your productive and you get title for the fair market value. Organic farms and new mineral wealth thats what this country needs.

Due to an increase in global population, global energy consumption, and the emergence of China as a world power, America’s share of the worldwide oil supply will decrease. Besides my concern over the damage that Oil and Coal have done to the ozone layer. I also refuse to believe that the best we Americans can do, once our share of Oil is diminished, is settle for a future of less food, rationed water, rationed heat and a lowered expectation of what the American dream can be. While we have succeeded in creating an Electric powered car as well as a car that runs on a Hydrogen fuel cell. No one has created one Electric Battery that can be used to fuel cars, airplanes, trains, buses, farming tractors (So that the world wide food supply will not be harmed by our decision to move away from Oil), air conditioners, and home heaters as well. One Electric battery, which powers all of these appliances, would allow us, without harming the environment, while being more sensitive to the Ozone layer, to continue to live the same lifestyle we
currently are lucky enough to have.

Without using Oil or harming the Environment, I would suggest acquiring the electricity for this one super battery, by building additional nuclear power plants. As odd as it sounds, nuclear power is less harmful to the Ozone layer then coal. I’m confident our Homeland Security Department can protect these nuclear power plants. However I’m open to other suggestions on how to acquire electricity.

I filed a patent application with the U.S. patent office to create this one super electric battery. Unfortunately however I still have to send in my payment so I have a confirmation number from the U.S. Patent office but must complete that one additional step before my patent is officially complete. I hope anyone reading this who shares my concern for the environment along with my concern for the future heating, food, and shelter of humanity, will be willing to lend a helping hand.

Here is a copy of my partially completed patent application.

Here is a 'wild idea' for all members of the AlternativeEnergy community. This is a 'wild idea' to prompt conciousness-raising, awareness and reflection.

If you have not already, sign up to participated in this Saturday's Earth Hour. Reserve one hour on Saturday, March 29 at 8pm -- Local time -- whereever in the world you may be.

See: wwww.earthhour.org or www.earthhourus.org

On March 29, 2008 at 8 p.m., join millions of people around the world in making a statement about climate change by turning off your lights for Earth Hour, an event created by the World Wildlife Fund.

Earth Hour was created by WWF in Sydney, Australia in 2007, and in one year has grown from an event in one city to a global movement. In 2008, millions of people, businesses, governments and civic organizations in nearly 200 cities around the globe will turn out for Earth Hour. More than 35 US cities will participate, including the US flagships–Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix and San Francisco.

We invite everyone throughout the US and around the world to turn off the lights for an hour starting at 8 p.m. (your own local time)–whether at home or at work, with friends and family or solo, in a big city or a small town.

What will you do when the lights are off? We have lots of ideas.

The US is the world's leading emitter of carbon dioxide–over 20 tons per person every year. Millions of us working together really can change the world.

Join people all across America in showing that you care about our planet and want to play a part in helping to fight climate change.
